Still have questions?
We're happy you have questions when you're considering a wood-fired hot tub. Check out our FAQs for answers to the most common inquiries.
ContactA wood-fired hot tub usually takes around 2–3 hours to heat from cold, depending on the heater type, water volume, and outdoor conditions. An integrated wood-fired heater typically takes around 1.5–2.5 hours, while an external wood-fired heater usually takes around 2–3 hours. On average, the water temperature rises by around 10–20°C per hour.
Heating time can vary depending on the outside temperature, wind, the starting water temperature, the type and power of the heater, the intensity of the fire, the quality of the wood, and whether an insulated cover is used during heating.
Both heater types are convenient and comfortable to use. The best choice depends on your space and how you plan to enjoy the tub. An integrated heater gives the tub a more compact, seamless look, but it takes up some space inside. An external heater keeps the bathing area more spacious, though it will require room beside the tub on your terrace or in your garden.
Start heating the hot tub only when the water fully covers the upper heater opening. This is important for proper water circulation and helps protect both the heater and the tub from damage. Keep the cover on while the water is heating to help retain warmth. For best results, use dry firewood and keep the fire steady throughout the heating process.
When your hot tub arrives, the exterior wood is already treated and protected, so no additional treatment is needed straight away. To keep it looking its best over time, we recommend recoating it around once a year, depending on weather exposure and frequency of use.
Yes, regular cleaning helps maintain both safety and performance. Before cleaning, make sure the heater is completely cool. Remove ash buildup, then detach the chimney and elbow sections and clean them thoroughly. If creosote has formed, use a suitable creosote remover and gently scrape away any residue, following the product instructions. Using dry firewood and starting the fire with smaller pieces of wood can also help reduce buildup over time.
The water should only be drained once the heater has completely cooled down. Draining it too early may cause damage to both the heater and the tub.
To keep your hot tub in good condition, regular care is recommended. This includes testing the water, balancing the treatment products, cleaning the filter, and draining and refilling the water from time to time.
Delivery costs are calculated individually, depending on the distance. The hot tub is dispatched from our Lithuanian workshop, so the final delivery price will depend on your location.
This depends on the model you have ordered and the delivery access at your property. In many cases, some extra help may be useful, although our delivery team can often manage the unloading themselves.
Delivery is usually completed in around 2 weeks from the time your hot tub is finished. Delivery time depends on location and configuration of the hot tub.
Your hot tub arrives fully assembled. If you choose an external heater, the heater will need to be connected on site and the chimney installed before the hot tub is used.
Please make sure there is a clear access gap of at least 120 cm to bring the hot tub into position. Check gates, paths, corners, steps, taps, pipes, window sills and any other obstacles before delivery.
